The Singer 128 will handle marine and car seat covers and your special chair. It will sew up to 8 layers of vinyl, 10 layers of heavy jeans and leather projects. It is not recommended to sew anything in excess of 5/16" inch thick.
This machine uses a chrome vanadium long shuttle. This shuttle was made by Singer from pure grade high quality metal. All metal parts allow for no slipping.
Attachments include buttonhole Attachment with cams, shirring foot, foot hemmer, zipper foot, slotted binder, ruffler, adjustable hemmer, original cleaning brush, 2 screw drivers, dome wooden case and base with key, foot control.
